Tirzepatide + B12
Product Description
Tirzepatide, known as a ‘twincretin’, is a ‘first-in-class’ and the only dual glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP) receptor agonist, that can significantly reduce glycemic levels and improve insulin sensitivity.

Tirzepatide is a novel dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity. It is marketed under the brand names Mounjaro® (for diabetes) and Zepbound® (for weight management).
Tirzepatide works by activating both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, which are incretin hormones that play important roles in glucose metabolism. This dual action helps:
- Increase insulin secretion when blood glucose levels are elevated
- Decrease glucagon secretion
- Slow gastric emptying
- Reduce appetite and food intake
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus management
- Chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with weight-related comorbidities
- Administered as a once-weekly subcutaneous injection
- Available in multiple dose strengths (2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, and 15 mg)
- Dose is typically titrated gradually to improve tolerability
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
- Decreased appetite
- Constipation
- Abdominal pain
